Article 4

Official Language and Emblems

4A.     

The language to be used by the Order in its official documents will be English.  Because of the diversity of the Order (all meetings is to be held in English) the second official languages of the Order are the native languages of the individual members’ countries, which means it can be used in their home country’s documentation. 

However, the second official languages must be translated to English for better understanding and vice versa when the occasion calls for it.  Thereby all members of the Order must provide copy in English to accompany any document written in another language.

Members of the Royal and The Royal and Imperial House of Rurikovich and The Imperial Order of St. John Knights of Malta  Shall NOT Issue Public Statements, nor make commitments on behalf of the House or the Order without the express written consent of the Royal and The Royal and Imperial House of Rurikovich and the Imperial Order of St. John Knights of Malta, and the written consent of HI&RH the SGM without approval, and consent, of HI&RH the SGM or his duly authorized Principalities.

4B.     

The Imperial flag, emblem, symbols, and logos of the Imperial House of HI&RH the SGM are laid down by HI&RH the SGM to his specifications.

No members or subjects of the Royal and Imperial House of Rurikovich and The Imperial Order of St. John Knights of Malta shall alter or make changes to the above stated items, for public or private usage without the express written consent of HI&RH the SGM.  Subjects and members may however create and submit artwork, logos, and designs to the Royal and Imperial House of Rurikovich and The Imperial Order of St. John Knights of Malta for approval.

If submissions to the House are accepted, they become the sole property of the Royal and Imperial House of Rurikovich and The Imperial Order of St. John Knights of Malta If submissions are not accepted, they may not be used or made public by either subjects or members of the Royal and Imperial House of Rurikovich and the Imperial Order of St. John Knights of Malta.

Article 5

Jurisdiction

All members and parts of the Order are subject to the jurisdiction of the Laws of the Order and the Sovereign Principality, HI&RH the SGM of the Royal and Imperial Sovereign House of Rurikovich, and the Imperial Order of St. John Knights of Malta.
